Welcome to the homepage of “Kadoya Preservation Association”
The
Hironos, the name of a house is Kadoya, which had been given the room in Toba Castle
as a village headman since the latter part of the Edo
period, was carrying on a pharmacy until Taisho period. In Heisei 18 (2006), Kadoya was appointed to
the tangible cultural assets in Mie
Prefecture, and had been
made repairs since Heisei 23 (2011). Finally
its appearance of the Edo period was restored.
Kadoya Preservation Association, founded
in Heisei 24 (2012), has been in action not only to preserve and inherit Kadoya
as cultural assets but also to make use of it as the place where we exchange
the information to hand down the tradition and culture cultivated in Toba.
